Baily + Ryan // Barnette on Washington

Baily and Ryan won an engagement session giveaway of mine we photographed at the Garden of the Gods in Herod IL and it was pure magic. These two have such a sweet and fun love for each other. But it was their love of the outdoors that really made me feel at home with these two. When they decided to have me capture their wedding I was so honored and really felt a part of their family from the minute I arrived on their wedding day. They have such a tight-knit group of family and friends and had some of the sweetest speeches and moments at their reception where it was just so easy to see how loved these two are. A truly beautiful day of sharing their love for each other with those they love most and their gallery really speaks to that. From their deep red fall-colored florals and trolley transportation, this whole day was a true classic in all the best ways. I see a lot of fall weddings and to be honest Baily's idea to use pheasant feathers in her bouquet was a way to keep things fresh and unique and so fun to capture. These two began their day getting ready at The Last Hotel STL which is a favorite rooftop photo spot of mine. We kicked things off here popping champagne on the rooftop before heading to their ceremony space at UMSL Provincial House. This was such a stunning place to say vows and I really enjoyed every aspect of this church even the adorable little gazebo in the courtyard. Their reception to follow gave European vibes at the Barnett on Washington.
